Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an experienced manager to run our new farm shop restaurant. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we are due to open our new 100 cover restaurant in July this year. Our menu will feature high quality, rustic dishes using locally sourced ingredients.

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the overall running of the restaurant, supported by the Head Chef and Front of House Manager, and will report to the business owners. The duties will include devising and costing menus with the head chef, ensuring our high standards of environmental health are adhered to, managing human resource issues, staff training and running the EPOS system for the café. As such, it is essential that you have experience in management within the hospitality industry.

This role offers a great work life balance with straight daytime shifts. We are open all weekends and bank holidays. Benefits include 28 days holiday, pension scheme, competitive rates of pay dependent on experience and a discretionary annual bonus after 1 years’ service.

Please note that we are in a rural position between Swindon and Marlborough where public transport links and very limited, so you own transport is advisable. We have ample free parking on site.

Apprentice Butcher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Butcher to join the team at our award winning farm shop and café.

We have a growing butchery department and are keen to employ someone who has a desire to learn the butchery trade.

We carry out the full range of butchery skills upon the premises from carcass breakdown, value added processing to sales. The position will include full training both on the premises and in conjunction with an authorized Level 2 NVQ provider.

This is a full time position and would suit an enthusiastic individual, no previous butchery experience required.
