We are looking for a talented chef to join our team to assist the head chef in producing quality traditional cuisine. We are extremely busy so you must be able to work quickly and efficiently in processing orders while under pressure. You must also have a sound knowledge and experience of using fresh ingredients and cooking from scratch.
Our menu consists of the usual cafe fare, but of a higher standard with a rustic edge. We also produce an increasing amount of cakes and pastries that are sold in our cafe and farm shop, so an interest in baking would be an advantage. Your input would also be much appreciated when selecting new dishes for our specials board and future menus.
This role offers a great work life balance, straight daytime shifts (no evenings) and is closed for Christmas. We are open all weekends and bank holidays. Please note that we are in a rural position between Swindon and Marlborough where public transport links are very limited so your own transport is advisable. We have ample free parking on site.
